R&A Knife Makers
R & A Knives are custom handmade knives that have been locally made in South Carolina for 19+ years.
Using an assortment of materials, as well as forging our own blades we are able to make a wide variety of knives
ranging from the "everyday workmans" knife to custom pieces.
Materials We Use
Steel: 8670, D2 tool steel, Pro cut tool steel & Damascus steel.
Handles: Maple wood, Walnut wood, Camel bone, Elk horn, Sandbar stag, Deer horn, Micarta, Resin incapsulated, Phenolic, Leather stack & G10.
Additional Handle Options: Jigged stripped, Dots, Rock, Impala & checkered.
Guards: Brass, 403 Stainless steel, Nickel silver and Copper.
Liners: Black & natural Micarta as well as vulcanized fiber material in a range of colors as red, blue, yellow & green.
Leather Sheaths: Veg-Tan.
